Our Story
Skjól Center started with one simple goal — to create a welcoming stop for travelers exploring Iceland’s Golden Circle.
Tucked right between Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir geothermal area, we opened our doors to campervans, solo travelers, and private guides looking for a place that’s easy, friendly, and right on the route.
What began as a small basecamp has grown into a cozy hub for food, rest, and local adventure.
